
Context
This research examines how social norms in Indonesia shape attitudes toward individuals with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, focusing on the challenges of violence, discrimination, and the barriers to acceptance and inclusion.
What We Did
The research uses Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with the Vignette method across regions in Indonesia, organized by gender and age, to assess attitudes toward sexual and gender diversity through hypothetical scenarios.
The Outcome
The insights gained from the research will be used to develop strategies for campaigns promoting inclusivity and acceptance of sexual and gender diversity.
