Job Description
Cothink is looking for a Research Design Specialist who can turn messy client problems into clear, elegant research designs. Someone who listens with empathy, thinks with structure, and writes proposals that resonate with real business needs.
In this role, you’ll explore client challenges through conversations, translate them into clear research questions, and build research designs that educate, inspire, and open doors for collaboration.
With an in-house field, data, and operations team ready to support you, you’ll have the freedom to think, design, and create value.
You’ll love this role if you:
- Turning vague client problems into structured research design
- Designing research approaches that are practical, strategic, and client-friendly
- Creating proposals that help clients learn, reflect, and make better decisions
- Engaging clients through conversations to uncover needs they didn’t know they had
- Comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative approaches
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Business, or related fields
- 1–3 years experience in market research, insights, strategy, or research design
- Strong understanding of qualitative & quantitative research approaches
- Skilled at writing clear, compelling research proposals
- Comfortable guiding clients and asking the right questions even when there’s no brief
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to think from the client’s perspective
